Study was conducted to assess the phytosociological studies in opium poppy at Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh state of India during 2016-17. A total ten weed species were found and identified. The results obtained indicated that Chenopodium album was most densely populated. The most important weeds that were associated with the opium poppy crop in the study area are of broad-leaved weeds.
