Ten marine bacteria were isolated and isolated for its antibacterial substance production against ten clinical isolates. The screening was carried out by
different methods such as point-inoculation method, Agar-well diffusion method and screening of supernatant for antibacterial substance production. After point inoculation method and agar-well diffusion method, inhibitory
activity against atleast one clinical isolate was detected for six marine
isolates. The marine isolate M5 with more antibacterial activity was
identified as Lysinibacillus sphaericus by 16S rRNA gene sequencing |
