Abstract:

A field experiment conduct during the year of 2013-14 and 2014-15 under field conducted at Agricultural Research Farm, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, to study the effect of phosphorus and sulphur organo- mineral fertilizers on yield and apparent recovery of green gram. Data revealed that treatment T16 (50%RDF+P-OMF @10.0 qha-1 + S-OMF @10.0 qha-1) showed maximum grain, biological yield, P and S-use efficiency and P and S-apparent recovery followed by T13 (50%RDF+ P-OMF @5.0 qha-1 + S-OMF @5.0 qha-1), T10 (75% RDF+P-OMF @10.0 qha-1+ S-OMF @10.0 qha-1) and T7 (75%RDF+ P-OMF @5.0 qha-1+ S-OMF @5.0 qha-1) for direct green gram over control (T1). The results showed that the combined application of combination (T16) (50%RDF+P-OMF @10.0 q ha-1 + S-OMF @10.0 qha-1) can be used as efficient fertilizer consortium for Green gram production.
