Abstract:

Langra is very famous and important cultivar of mango in northern India because of excellence in quality and taste. Though, it have many variants so, it is difficult to judge during breeding purpose and also commercially. Therefore, Current study emphasize to demonstrate the utility of morphological traits for the study of seedling variability among variant of cultivar Langra of the fruit mango due to unavailability of high priced equipment among poor farmers. This study focused on their excellent scope for locating useful seedling diversity in mango, which may be the result of the cultivation of many commercial cultivars. The present study would facilitate the farmers, seller and government authorities to export mango varieties that would be well perceived by the consumer all around the world. The information derived from the present research would also assist the local fruit industry to select mango varieties for the production of various fruit products that impart highly acceptable sensorial attributes.
