Abstract:

The effect of planting geometry and nutrition on growth and flowering of seed guar cultivars viz., HG 365 and HG 563 was analysed under Mahanandi conditions. The growth parameters like dry weight (g) of whole plant, leaf area per plant (cm2), leaf area index, crop growth rate, relative growth rate and seed yield per plot (kg) were recorded significantly the highest values in the variety HG 365 planted at the spacing of 30 cm x 10 cm and applied with the fertilizer dose of 45N: 60P: 60K: 30S kg per ha.
