Abstract:

The effect of Gamma radiation on germination & Mortality percentage in M1, M2 generation was studied. Gamma beams reduced germination in M1 and increased in M2. T2 and T3 recorded highest reduction while lowest in T1. Mortality percentage was more M1 & M2 generation with increase in doses of gamma rays. M1 generation has highest mortality in T3 (15.50 %) while minimum in T1 (5.60 %) in M2. Mortality percentage was found increased with the increases in doses of gamma rays.
