Abstract:

Blood samples of 50 cows were collected in EDTA coated vials for oxidatives stress markers estimation viz. Malondialdehyde and Glutathione peroxide. The mean blood level of reduced glutathione in subclinical mastitis (30.44±1.87 ng/ml) was lower than healthy cows (47.98± 4.04ng/ml). Concentration of malondialdehyde (10.026±0.21mmol/L) in subclinical mastitis was significantly higher as compare to healthy group cows (2.19±0.23mmol/L).

Keywords: Sub clinical mastitis, Malonaldehyde, Reduced glutathione
