An experiment was carried out for evaluation of six Asiatic hybrid lily varieties viz., Black Out (V1), Brunello (V2), Navona (V3), Tresor (V4), Polyanna (V5) and Vermeer (V5) to assess their performance with respect to growth, flowering and bulb production during 2016-17 at Horticultural Research Station, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu. The genotype under study showed significant variation for different characters. The analysed data indicated that the variety Maximum plant height was recorded in cultivar Polyanna (129. 3 cm), which was at par with that of Black Out (120.0 cm).whereas minimum plant height was recorded in cultivar Vermeer (107.2. cm). Maximum number of leaves recorded in cultivar Navona (40.0), was on par with that of Black Out (39.00), whereas, minimum number of leaves was recorded in cultivar Polyanna and Vermeer (39.00). Brunnello took minimum days for flowering (120 days). While Vermeer took maximum days for flowering (140 days). Maximum number of buds was recorded in cultivar Tresor (5.3) whereas minimum number of buds (2.0) was recorded in cultivar Polyanna. The spike length was highest in Tresor (52.4cm) and the lowest in Black Out (43.0 cm). Bud length (19.9cm) and bud diameter (17.7cm) was maximum in Tresor. Cultivars; 'Tresor and Brunello' are found to be superior for producing more stem length, number of leaves/plant and number of flower buds/plant. Among the Asiatic varieties, Tresor and Brunello are found to be superior for producing more stem length, number of leaves per plant and number of flower buds per plant.
