Small cardamom is a perennial crop which is cultivated predominantly along the Western Ghats of South India. Small cardamom is one of the costly spices after saffron and vanilla. Though the cardamom is a high-value export-oriented spice crop, there were high price fluctuations over the period. Hence, an attempt was made to study the price behaviour of small cardamom along with that constraints faced by farmers also studied.
