Impact of Intervention on the Reproductive Health Knowledge of Adolescent Girls from Agrarian families

Abstract:

Present study was taken up to find out the Knowledge levels of the Rural Adolescent girls in the adopted villages (4) of Maheshwarammandal, RR district, Hyderabad with regard to Reproductive health issues. 50Rural Adolescent girls formed the sample for the present study. Based on the pre-assessment results, Knowledge based Intervention programmes were organized. Impact assessment showed significant improvement in the Knowledge levels of the sample, reflecting the effectiveness of the Intervention programme.
