In front line demonstration on paddy, (Sahbhagi Dhan) highest grain yield (42.17 – 46.92 q/ ha) was recorded under drought condition. It was 54.28 percent higher yield over the farmers practice (22.61q/ha). An average yield of 42.17 q/ha was recorded in frontline demonstration and in farmer practices it was just 26.46q/ha. Thus, the average technology gap, extension gap, and technology index of 5.96, 15.71 and 11.77 percent respectively were obtained between demonstration and farmer practices. The average yield of paddy increased 54.28 percent over farmers’ practices, While the year wise variation in yield was increases 37.84 to 54.28 percent.
