A field experiment was conducted at Agronomy Farm, S.K.N. College of Agriculture, Jobner (Jaipur) during kharif season 2012. The results revealed that application of vermicompost @ 6.0 t/ha gave significantly higher yield attributing characters (Number of pods per plant and Number of seeds per pod) and further application of Rhizobium + PSB recorded significantly higher yield attributing characters (Number of pods per plant and Number of seeds per pod) over control, but both are treatments did not significantly effect of test weight. The results revealed that increase in nitrogen content and uptake in seed and straw with 6.0 t/ha vermicompost recoded statistically at par with 4.0 t/ha vermicompost treatment and further application of Rhizobium + PSB observed significantly NPK content and their uptake by seed and straw over control.
